Berry Monkey Bread

If you follow this blog, you’ve probably heard of monkey bread before, so we don’t have to tell you the potential for the fun and deliciousness it entails.  But, like always, we try to take advantage of changes in the food world that might not have been seen much.

Strawberries are red, glaze is white, and blueberries are, well, blue.  No, this isn’t a clever poem, but it is a recipe for a victorious Fourth of July party treat.  Parties scream for monkey bread because of its ability to be broken up and eaten by hand – picked apart like how a monkey would eat.  Using the blueberries and strawberries allows this to be sweet, yet kind of tangy.  And did you notice?  It looks amazing.
