Mastering the Art of Rolling and Shaping the Perfect Bun
To achieve bakery-quality sticky buns, it is essential to master the art of rolling and shaping them with precision and care. The process begins by preparing a soft and elastic dough, allowing it to rise until doubled in size. Once the dough has proofed, it is rolled out into a rectangular shape, ensuring an even thickness throughout. A generous layer of butter, sugar, and cinnamon is then spread evenly over the dough, providing the signature sweet and spicy flavors.
The dough is carefully rolled into a tight log, sealing the filling inside. The log is then sliced into individual buns, each piece placed in a greased baking dish. Finally, the buns are allowed to rise again before being baked to golden perfection. Mastering the technique of rolling and shaping ensures that each bun is beautifully formed, creating a visually appealing and delicious treat.
